Very unappealing view of the property before entering! However, this all changed when we went inside. Attractive decor. Reception staff were exceptional. Very helpful, friendly, informative, knowledgeable and professional. Room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. Bathroom very clean with all expected amenities. Breakfast was exceptionally good with a large choice, some that were new to me. The availability of freshly cooked items such as eggs Benedict was very welcome. All stall here were also extremely helpful and friendly. It was only a very short walk to the centre of Chester. We will definitely be staying again!

Location is great 5 minute walk from the centre. Pool and sauna facility were both excellent. Really good breakfast too, if a little expensive.

The hotel was as expected and locale area was excellent. Unfortunately. Please don't ask if clients staying have any other requirements then ignore them. Breakfast and evening meal was ruined due to the fact I asked for Lactose Free Milk. Which is quite easily obtained. Not oat milk or soya milk which I cannot tolerate. You let yourselves down badly I presume you thought I would accept what you had on offer and be happy. Well I was not and if I was happy to accept oat/soya I would not have made a request for Lactose Free Milk. Due to the fact I presumed when milk was delivered to my room it was per request. The last night of my stay was in my room as I was to ill to accompany him out for our last evening

Staff very pleasant. The reception and bar areas were really nice. Close to city centre, short walk away only. Great for car parking so close to city centre.

Lovely and clean throughout, very welcoming Everything overall was excellent, food and room lovely, couple of minor snags but nothing really significant. Staff were lovely, it was great to get a room service pudding for my daughter.! In the restaurant they were extremely attentive relating to my daughters food allergies which was much appreciated

Hotel chosen for location, on-site parking, and spa facilities. Didn't disappoint in any aspect - once we'd found a parking space. Parking before check-in very helpful. Had to wait some time for room to be ready but welcome coffee and fantastic staff. Good room with views towards Wales. Spa spot on. Hotel knew it was an anniversary for us so a 'welcome card' in the room a lovely touch.

The staff were lovely, couldn’t do enough for you. Always pleasant and wished you a good day Room was spotless and even cleaned while we where there for only 2 nights Although the hotel was very very busy we didn’t hear any noise when in the room apart from a few doors banging Breakfast was beautiful something for everyone The swimming pool was quiet and chilled parking was so easy visiting with a disabled child we had a disability car park space reserved for our stay

The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and safe in the room. The location was fantastic, actually inside the city walls. Room service prices were the same as on the main menu, just had to pay £5 on top for the service.

Location is excellent for city center. Car park is small so could not get on but car park literally next door is fine.
